![]() The Once and Future Table Meet digital table. Kids tidepooling on a beach at low tide. Hunkering down on the folding, rolling table which is digitally active. It actually happened on June 14th, 1998, below Scripps in La Jolla, California. We rolled the Radio Flyer through the running trickle from the sandstone by the Pier. The electric generator sat perched aboard the little red wagon, as did the folded up picnic table and most of our other digital gear: 3 laptops, 3 digital cameras, a WACOM graphics tablet, an Internet Video laptop-attachment, assorted audio equipment, and cellular phones. It was great! Everyone should have a digital picnic table. Nintendo should make one and start a whole new high-tech competition. |
