From a Week Before June 14th was a beautiful day too, just overcast enough for great clouds and mists.

While this was only a precursor to the main event a week later, knowing that Doug Filter's intrepid band were out in the field the same time our La Jolla Tidepooling expedition was happening created an intense atmosphere of simultaneity.

While the June 14th pre-expedition expedition to RMNP was necessitated by our presentation at DIG's First Congress -- having to have images available -- it was meaningful in itself. It was DEX's first "Expedition Lite".
